Two quick questions:
1. Why did you folks decide to build a custom browser rather than creating an extension? I use Google Chrome already, so it is a bit of a nuisance to have to browse with Perk. Also, it means more work for you guys as you have to keep an entire browser updated instead of letting Google do that and you folks just manage the extension.
2. Why did you choose to make a custom search engine? I didn’t notice any ads – so you wouldn’t make any money off of it? And what search engine are you using underneath? I’m guessing not a custom one, but the results also seemed somewhat inferior to Google’s native results…so maybe you are using another engine?
1. We have a Chrome extension for Perk, Perk Lite! You can download Perk Lite here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/perk-lite/edpaeddemekchnbmjmcjplbbeeheionp?hl=en-US
2. Perk wants to reward our users for what the normally do every day on their web browser, so users have a chance to win points when the use Perk Search for their daily searches.
